Step 1: Buckle Your Baby Nicely

First, recline the car seat properly; ensure it’s in a parallel position with the pavement based on the red line located at the side of the car seat. Then, pull the lap belt, tuck it into the lap belt guides over the baby’s lap, and buckle it.

Step 2: Wrap the Shoulder Belt Around the Car Seat Back

Slowly pull out the shoulder belt to the very end to put it into the locking mode. If the seat belt is not long enough, then pull the seat belt and hold it with one hand; tip the seat up with another hand. Afterward, wrap the shoulder belt across the back of the car seat. Slowly pull out the shoulder belt to the very end to put it into the locking mode; take the belt across the car seat back through the designated guide for the shoulder belt. Then, wrap the back of the car seat.

Step 3: Push Down and Secure The Car Seat

After threading the seat belt across the car seat, push down the top portion of the seat to make it properly reclined and secure. You can check the red line located at the side of the car seat to ensure its proper positioning.

• Stand behind the car seat
