This chaffle sandwich recipe is super quick and easy to make and take just 5 minutes to whip up using a mini waffle maker. You can even have your kids and husband help join in on the fun!

INGREDIENTS FOR LOW CARB CHAFFLE SANDWICH:

Our keto chaffle sandwich recipe makes 4 mini chaffles in a DASH mini waffle maker

or 2 chaffles if you’re using a Belgian Waffle Maker:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup superfine blanched almond flour: adds structure and makes them less eggy/cheesy and more bread like
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder: makes them rise and extra fluffy
  • garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (we use a mix of cheddar and mozzarella)

FOR THE SANDWICH VARIATIONS – SWITCH THINGS UP AND HAVE FUN!

  • Turkey Chaffle Sandwich: layer oven roasted nitrate free sliced turkey, lettuce, tomato and cheddar or swiss cheese plus compliant mayo or Dijon mustard
  • Keto Breakfast Sandwich: scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese

HOW TO MAKE A CHAFFLE SANDWICH:

  2. MAKE THE BATTER: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond flour, garlic powder and baking powder.

  3. COOK THE CHAFFLES:

  • 3 slices your favorite nitrate-free deli meat , turkey, ham, chicken
  • 2 slices cooked bacon
  • 2 slices tomatoes
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chicken salad
  • 1/4 tuna salad

Instructions
