This place is kind of a hole in the wall place and doesn't have many people working there but not only do they do a fabulous job on dip and gel manicures they also are so genuinely kind and always compliment me. They do truly care about their costumers and i love going here.

booked an appointment 2 days prior. When i arrived, the lady said they forgot to write me in so they had to apologize the the people they were working on, stop working on them and start my nails. I showed photo of the nails I wanted. I asked Tina if she could do it. She said yes. The nail design I requested had rhinestones. She did not feel like putting the rhinestones on, and she decided to painted the nails with glitter instead. I asked her 2 times if she was sure she could do the design and she told me yes, and not to worry. She then had the nerve after finishing to take a photo of my nails after i did not get what I paid for, to show off her work. At the register, she asked me to come back next week and she would do them correctly. These were my birthday nails. Take your money elsewhere.

Unfortunately yo-yo is no longer here. And I don't believe that they care enough that their customers truly value her as a salon manager. Sadly I will not go back to KQ. However I did find yo-yo at Pearl now so if you still want great service I suggest you go to Pearl nail in Coralville

I do not recommend this place at all. It seems that there is only 1 nail lady and two assistants that only do the massage and cuticle part. The male assistant did not know how to remove gel nail polish and did not do a good job (gave me cold water for the pedicure and barely touched my feet, was too gentle, waited until my feet were wet to ask what color I wanted). They do no have a great color selection- I had to pick 3 colors before they finally had one I wanted. The actual polish job was good and done by the owner but I spent a lot of time waiting and was charged more than what the menu said it would be. ($50 for gel pedicure and polish removal). Will not be coming back
